PT Dahana (Persero) has dispatched humanitarian aid for communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The aid was shipped from Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, on August 29, 2026, bound for NTT via a vessel operated by PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero), or PELNI.
PT Dahana (Persero) President Director Hary Irmawan stated that the aid represents the company’s solidarity with and concern for the disaster-affected communities.
“We share our deepest sympathies regarding the disaster that has befallen the people of NTT. We hope this aid helps alleviate the community’s burden and supports the recovery process so that they can resume their daily activities soon,” said Hary.
The aid provided consists of basic necessities and daily essentials, such as rice, mineral water, instant noodles, cooking oil, UHT milk, and supplies for infants and children.
Herdi Pramayudha, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications & Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) at PT Dahana (Persero), noted that this initiative is part of Dahana’s commitment to Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL), aiming to deliver tangible benefits to the community, particularly during emergency response situations.
“We hope this aid is distributed effectively and reaches the right recipients, helping to meet the community’s basic needs during the emergency response and post-disaster recovery periods,” Herdi stated.
Prior to this, the aid was transported from Dahana’s Head Office in Subang to Tanjung Priok Port. Upon arrival in NTT, the aid will be received by the Bank BTN Maumere State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) Command Post for subsequent distribution to the affected communities.
Humanitarian support is also being provided in collaboration with DEFEND ID as a gesture of solidarity to assist the community in navigating the emergency response and post-disaster recovery phases.
Through this initiative, Dahana reaffirms its commitment to remaining present for the community and making a tangible contribution, especially during disaster emergencies.
